Every time I throw well, my finger blisters...I'm done with my 22-win class in ML. Does it end with an ERA of 5 points

Whenever I throw well, I get a blister on my finger. I ended up with 22 wins in total in the Major League. A year that I feel sorry for Jaime Barria (28), a foreign pitcher of the Hanwha Eagles in the professional baseball league, is coming to an end.

Barria pitched well against Lotte in Daejeon on the 23rd with three hits, six strikeouts and one run in five ⅔ innings. Although he did not win, he lowered his ERA for the season from 5.49 to 5.24. It was regrettable that he was replaced with 75 pitches due to blisters in his right middle finger, but the pitching was good.

He started with a left-handed hit by Lotte's No. 1 Hwang Sung-bin in the top of the first inning, but after striking out Victor Reyes with a slider, he failed to steal Hwang. Barria then caught Ko Seung-min in the left field and ended the first inning with 10 balls, and retired in the top of the second inning when Son Ho-young hit an infield fly ball to the second base, Na Seung-yeop struck out a swing and miss, and Jeon Joon-woo hit an infield fly ball to the first base.

In the top of the third inning, Barria grounded out Yoon Dong-hee to shortstop, struck out Park Seung-wook on three pitches, and ended Information Keun on five pitches with a foul fly to the first base. He grounded out Hwang Sung-bin to the second base, Reyes to the first base, and struck out Ko Seung-min.

In the top of the fifth inning, he allowed Son Ho-young to get a left double and Na Seung-yeop to get a double in the middle of the month, but he did not allow additional runs. He struck out Jeon Jun-woo with a low fastball and Yoon Dong-hee with an outside fastball, and the inning ended when shortstop Lee Do-yoon jumped and caught Park Seung-wook's well-hit line drive ball.

Barria, who had only 63 pitches until the fifth inning, sent a runner to the first base at the top of the sixth inning when second baseman An Chi-hong missed a grounder hit by Junghoon Lee, but managed to deal with Hwang with a double play. Second baseman An Chi-hong made up for his earlier error by connecting with a one-man double play.

Before Reyes' at-bat, however, Barria sent signs to the bench to see if he felt uncomfortable. Hanwha pitching coach Yang Sang-moon and trainer came up and made several practice pitches, but ended up on the mound. He threw 75 pitches per hour, up to 151 kilometers per hour with an average of 148 kilometers fastball (33), slider (33), two-seam (6), and change-up (3).

Fortunately, it was not a serious injury. It was a substitute for protection due to blisters on the middle of his right hand. Barria threw well with five hits, one walk, two strikeouts and two runs in four ⅔ against Gwangju KIA on May 5, but was replaced with blisters on the middle of his right hand, which went down again for the same reason.

Barria, who had 22 wins in total while playing in the Major League for six years until last year, joined Hanwha in late May as a complete replacement for Felix Peña. It was Hanwha's winning move to challenge for the semifinals, and raised expectations as a top-notch foreign pitcher who can be brought in during the season. As expected, he had two wins in his first three games since his debut, and pitched well with three runs (1.69 ERA) in 16 innings. Manager Kim Kyung-moon's 900 career wins and his first win at a home game in Daejeon coincided with Barria's starting wins.

However, as monotonous pitching patterns centered on fastballs and sliders were analyzed, he began to be attacked. Third-pitch change-up movements were flat, making it less useful as a decision ball. As he boldly enters into the game, he walked less but collapsed after being hit by intensive hitting.  메이저놀이터

He played the most six ⅔ innings in a game against Kiwoom in Gocheok on July 10, but he has never completed six innings in 12 games since then. Of the 19 games in the season, only eight have passed more than five times. Perhaps due to the effect of throwing as relief in the U.S. starting in 2022, his ability to digest innings has been extremely poor. He was disappointed as the most important inning data for KBO foreign pitchers.
